THE DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY AT WASHINGTON STATE UNIVERSITY in Pullman, WA invites applications for a permanent full-time, nine-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Pullman, Washington, with a specialty in Social Psychology . It is anticipated that the successful candidate will begin the appointment on August 16, 2019. Although the area of research expertise is open, applicants whose research in Social Psychology is connected to issues of human health (broadly construed) will be of particular interest.   Job duties: Developing and maintaining a productive research program, seeking appropriate grant funding, mentoring graduate student research in the Experimental Psychology PhD program, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses on topics of social psychology and related areas (two courses per semester), and collaborating with members of the Department of Psychology, as well as members of other departments and programs.    Qualifications: An earned doctoral degree in Psychology by the date of hire, along with a demonstrated record of research publication.
