WILLIAMS COLLEGE DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY invites applications for a one- to two-year Visiting Assistant Professor position in Clinical Psychology , beginning July 1, 2019. Applications are welcome in all areas of specialization within clinical psychology. The teaching load is four courses each year, which would likely include a survey course on Psychological Disorders, the Clinical Psychology section of a team-taught Introductory Psychology course, and an upper-level research seminar in the candidate’s area of interest with an accompanying lab (if needed, a section in our interdisciplinary senior seminar may be taught in lieu of one of those courses). The college and department provide numerous mentoring opportunities and support in teaching and research for visiting faculty. We are particularly interested in attracting and welcoming candidates from under-represented groups, and hiring candidates who can work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
