Williams College Department of Psychology seeks candidates for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level (although a more senior appointment could be considered under special circumstances), beginning July 1, 2025. We seek a productive scholar and excellent teacher with broad expertise in the field of cognitive psychology whose research program can engage undergraduate students. Candidates with research interests in cognitive psychology and related areas are encouraged to apply and will be given full consideration. Williams College offers substantial internal support for research and a generous sabbatical program. The teaching load typically consists of four semester-long courses per year and a January term course in alternate years.
