The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown invites applications for a tenure-stream, full-time position at the Assistant Professor level in the Department of Psychology.  The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, founded in 1927, is the first and largest regional campus of the University of Pittsburgh.  A vital knowledge center and a foremost contributor to the region’s educational, social, cultural, and economic development, Pitt-Johnstown provides a first-class educational experience that is purposefully designed to prepare students for the real world of the 21st century.  Pitt-Johnstown offers a supportive living-learning environment, grounded in the liberal arts and sciences, that is current and responsive to both our students’ personal and professional needs and the needs of our communities.  Our campus is located on 650 picturesque acres in the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania, 70 miles east of Pittsburgh.  Additional information on our institution is available on our web site: Responsibilities include a 12-hour teaching load per term and an active research program including supervision of undergraduates, along with departmental, divisional, and college-wide service activities.  Teaching duties include Introductory Psychology, clinical-related courses including Psychopathology, Models of Therapy, Tests and Measurements, and other courses in one’s specialty area. Experience or interest in teaching Child Development is preferred. Qualifications: Applicants must have a doctoral degree in Clinical/Counseling Psychology or a related field by August 24, 2019.
