The Behavioral & Social Sciences Department at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, AZ invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in Psychology. Primary responsibilities include teaching courses for our Bachelor of Science degree programs in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Factors Psychology, and Forensic Psychology. This position will also include working with and advising students as they explore internships, develop research studies, and chart career trajectories. The successful candidate will enthusiastically mentor undergraduate students in research, professional development, and conference presentation/networking skills.

The candidate will work with our team of psychology faculty in supporting the success and growth of our undergraduate programs. An interest in leading scholarly activities that involve undergraduate students in research, grant proposals, or industry contracts is ideal. Demonstrated or potential excellence in teaching, research, and mentoring undergraduate students is expected. Practical or industry experience is valued.

Embry-Riddle is a private non-profit, residential university in the mountains of Arizona with a focus on the STEM disciplines. Qualifications

The outstanding candidate will have a doctoral degree in Psychology or closely related discipline with college-level teaching experience. Candidates with degrees in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Factors Psychology, or Forensic Psychology are of greatest interest; however, candidates with other specializations and research areas are also encouraged to apply. ABDs with a clear plan for completion by December 31, 2019 are also strongly encouraged to apply. Review of application will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
