Center for Autism Research Excellence

If you want to be at the cutting edge of research and innovation, in the heart of the city, consider joining Boston University. BU is one of the largest private employers in Boston, with almost 10,000 faculty and staff on a dynamic, vibrant campus that is shaping the future of education.

While there are many reasons to consider a job, at Boston University we believe there’s more to it than simply being employed. As a leading global research institution, BU has a rich legacy of serving its students, faculty, and staff as well as the communities beyond campus. You can become a part of this legacy, have a direct impact on students, and take advantage of competitive benefits and opportunities for professional and personal growth.

The Center for Autism Research Excellence is a large lab, directed by Dr. Helen Tager-Flusberg. The lab studies Autism Spectrum Disorder, with a focus on language and the minimally verbal population. We recently embarked on a new five-year project, funded by the National Institutes of Health, to explore language outcomes in minimally verbal children with ASD.
