The College of Health Professions at Mercer University invites applications for a full-time faculty member for the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program. This position is for a tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor in a progressive and innovative department that emphasizes evidenced-based treatment and an integrative approach to health care and interaction with our other partner programs (Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies, Public Health, Speech and Language Pathology, and Athletic Training). The ideal candidate will have a strong research orientation with potential for extramural support, and a commitment to excellence in education. Responsibilities include doctoral student classroom instruction and evaluation; small group supervision; advisement and mentoring of students; admissions activities; committee involvement; and scholarly activities to include publications, grants, and presentations.

Applicants must complete a doctoral degree from an APA accredited institution prior to the start date (start date is flexible but preference is for Fall of 2020 or before). Preferred applicants will have the following:

1) Expertise with psychoeducational and diagnostic assessment.

2) Experience providing clinical supervision to pre-doctoral practicum students.

3) Experience and a commitment to teaching courses in clinical psychology at the graduate levels.

4) An active program of research in clinical psychology, as evidenced by a track record of recent  peer-reviewed empirical research,.

5) Eligibility for Georgia licensure as a clinical psychologist.

6) A demonstrated commitment to mentoring graduate students in clinical research.
