Established in 1929, Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, is an educational nonprofit and the largest single major honor society accredited by the Association of College Honor Societies. Psi Chi is an affiliate of both APA and APS.
With chapters in over 1200 universities, including 35 outside the US 50 states, Psi Chi has grown to over 800,000 members during nine decades of exponential membership growth. The organization supports psychology undergraduate students, graduate students, alumni, and faculty. Joining our small staff of 14 people provides the opportunity to have a large impact across the US and globally. Psi Chi enjoys a strong financial position and is poised to grow significantly over the next few years.
The Society supports research at all levels of university education, Open Science, diversity initiatives, global connections, and psychology faculty. The Society produces the Psi Chi Journal of Psychological Research, Eye on Psi Chi magazine, podcasts, webinars, Psi-Chi-Ology Blog, ebooks, webinars, and email digests. We give away $400,000 in awards, grants, and scholarships annually.
