The University of Lucerne is the youngest university in Switzerland. Founded in 2000, it currently comprises the four faculties of Theology, Cultural and Social Sciences, Law, Economics and the Department of Health Sciences and Medicine and has around 3'000 students. The new Faculty of Behavioural Sciences and Psychology will complement the human sciences profile of the University of Lucerne. In addition to establishing a study program in psychology, the faculty will incorporate relevant topics from a human science perspective and offer new research and teaching collaborations. Among other projects, there are plans to establish an integrative behavioural science research laboratory that will connect the existing faculties and launch new fields of research.
