The Department of Psychological Science at the University of Central Missouri seeks to fill a nine-month, tenure-track assistant professor position beginning January 2025 or August 2025. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Psychology or a Psy.D. from an accredited institution and be eligible for licensure as a mental health professional. Preference will be given to applicants with a degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology. We welcome applications from scholars who address topics relevant to diversity, equity, and inclusion in their research and teaching/training. While advanced ABD candidates will be considered, completion of the doctoral degree is required by the start of the appointment. Required qualifications also include evidence of effective teaching and the ability to teach General Psychology and Abnormal Psychology.
