The Cognitive and Linguistic Sciences program and the Psychology Department at Wellesley College invite applicants for a joint tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor, beginning September 2024.  Our Cognitive and Linguistic Sciences program is interdisciplinary with courses in linguistics, psychology, philosophy, and computer science, and our Psychology Department emphasizes empirical research in diverse subfields. We seek a candidate whose research program is in cognitive science or a related field.  Candidates will have a demonstrated commitment to teaching at the undergraduate level while maintaining a commitment to their research specialty. Applicants should be able to teach introductory and upper level courses in cognitive science, as well as cognition and an upper level seminar in their area of specialization.
