The selected candidate will mount a vigorous research program while making significant contributions to the department's teaching mission. Topics of study might include how humans learn to perceive, represent, and act on the world; what kinds of experiences guide perceptual organization and conceptual development; the interface of perception with the development of conceptual representations; or the development of executive functions, memory, reasoning, or decision making.
