Founded in the early 1960s, the Department of Psychology at the University of Waterloo has grown to become one of the most esteemed Departments of Psychology in Canada. The University of Waterloo is ranked as one of the top Social Psychology programs in Canada and in North America generally (see Nosek et al., 2010, Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin), with an excellent track record of job placements in academia and non-academic research institutions.
