PSYCHOLOGIST

Job Description

PSYCHOLOGIST POSITIONS IN THE MASS GENERAL BRIGHAM ACADEMIC MEDICAL CENTER DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHIATRY

The Mass General Brigham AMC Department of Psychiatry has outstanding opportunities for licensed psychologists in several practice settings.  Part- and full-time positions are available in our outpatient clinics, in our inpatient psychiatry units, in our substance use disorder teams, in psychiatric and medical subspecialty outpatient groups, and in our neuropsychological assessment centers.  Opportunities in our affiliated community health centers and rehabilitation hospital are also available.

Psychologists provide clinical services including comprehensive diagnostic and neuropsychological evaluations and short-term, evidence-based treatment. We are seeking psychologists with generalist training adept at diagnosing and treating a variety of mental health conditions. Individuals with training in cognitive behavioral therapy and other evidence-based treatments are encouraged to apply.  Candidates who work well in teams, collaborate well with medical colleagues, thrive in a fast-paced work environment, and enjoy consultation and evaluation will be particularly well suited for this work.

In addition to clinical work, there are teaching and research opportunities at Mass General Brigham and Harvard Medical School (HMS) for the appropriate interested candidate.  Qualified applicants may apply for a faculty appointment at HMS at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor.  Candidates should have a Ph.D. or a Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA/CPA accredited program and must have completed an APA accredited internship.  Candidates should be licensed or license-eligible in Massachusetts.

Interested individuals should send a cover letter and CV to [email protected].

We are an equal opportunity employer and women, and minorities are highly encouraged to apply.  All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, ethnicity, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy and pregnancy-related conditions, or any other characteristic protected by law.
