The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Fairfield University invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2024-25 academic year (Fall 2024 and Spring 2025). The area of specialization is open, but preference will be given to applicants with expertise in social, cognitive, or developmental psychology.  Applicants should have a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and are expected to have completed a Ph.D. in psychology or a related field, but strong ABD candidates will also be considered. The teaching load is 4 courses per semester and will include courses such as General Psychology, Statistics and Research Methods, as well as courses in the candidate’s area of specialization. Kent State University’s Department of Psychological Sciences is recruiting up to two tenure-track Assistant Professors in Psychology to begin Fall 2027. We are most interested in candidates with expertise in Clinical Psychology and, pending budgetary approval, Cognitive/Cognitive Development.
