The Institute of Child Development in the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Minnesota seeks to fill a tenure track Assistant Professor position in developmental psychopathology . We welcome applicants conducting research in any area of developmental psychopathology, with particular interest in: prevention/intervention sciences; typical and atypical socio-emotional development; risk, trauma, and resilience; stress biology; and family, community, and global contexts. The Departments of Psychological Science and Neuroscience seek candidates with a demonstrated commitment to teaching and the ability to establish an active research program that involves undergraduates. The position (75% appointment in Psychological Science and 25% appointment in Neuroscience) will begin in July 2027. The candidate is expected to teach two courses per semester, in addition to supervising senior theses. Courses may include introductory psychology and/or human neuroscience, as well as courses (elective, lab, or seminar) in the candidate’s area of research expertise.
